The AKU SHAPER pro model is the world leading surf-craft shaping tool. This special purpose machine has been designed using the highest quality components and craftsmanship. All of which has been manufactured and assembled in house at our factory in Australia.

Machine Features.

Our PRO MODEL machines are built to last with a welded frame made out of 100mm x 50mm RHS minimising vibration allowing a cleaner overall finish.

The PRO MODEL machine is self lubricating with all 14 bearings fed by oil lines and an automated air unit.

The blanks are supported by swivel mounted Vacuum cups and balance arms to allow for a quick and easy loading procedure whilst maintaining perfect stability throughout the cutting path. The 360 degree swivel motion helps negate blank inaccuracies whilst holding it true to the design.

High quality closed loop servo motors on all three axis makes the machine move seamlessly throughout the cutting path in a time efficient manner. Never losing its place and never compromising an accurate and smooth finish.

Pioneered by AKU SHAPER, our specially designed cutting blade will leave you with the smoothest cuts of any CNC machine on the market today. Unique to AKU SHAPER the blade allows you to make full rail cuts up to 140 degrees. The blade also changes direction for each side of the board minimising burn whilst maximising accuracy.

What makes the AKU SHAPERS full rail cuts possible and perfectly symmetrical is our complete alignment system.

First of all with our machine mounted line laser for the deck.

Then with the guidance of our flip assist and actuators for the bottom.

If you are ready to take your cuts to the next level a large 3 axis or 4 axis router can be added to the build of your machine. Adding accuracy to the placement of your plugs and channels whilst increasing productivity.
